How to Print a Coloring Book at Home (or at a Print Shop)
Updated October 28, 2026
Paper
Use thicker paper than usual if you can: 120 to 160 g/m² (32 to 60 lb) stops markers bleeding through. For crayons and pencils, normal printer paper is fine.
Printer settings
- Print at 100% (actual size), not "fit to page"
- Black and white is enough for the inside pages
- Print single-sided if you use markers
Binding
A simple stapler works for up to about 20 sheets. For thicker books, a print shop can add a spiral or comb binding for a few dollars.
💡 Coloriki books come as one PDF with the cover first. Print the cover on thick paper in color, and the rest in black and white.
