Privacy Policy

In short: your photos are private. We use them only to make the pages you ask for, never publish them, never sell them, never use them to train AI, and delete originals after 30 days unless they are in a book you keep.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, an optional name, your country (from your connection, for prices), email preferences.
  • Photos and pages: the photos you upload, the pages and books made from them, colorings you save, captions and dedications.
  • Orders: what you bought, amounts, dates, and for printed books the delivery address and phone number. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we only see the last digits and card brand.
  • Technical data: IP address (stored as a one-way hash to apply free-preview limits), browser type, and server logs kept 30 days.

Children's photos

Many photos show children. They are treated as private content: stored on our servers with restricted access, never shown to other users or published, never used for advertising or to train AI models. Only an adult account holder may upload photos of children, with the permission of the child's parent or guardian.

Why we use it

  • To make your pages, books and prints, and to run your account (contract).
  • To take payments, send receipts and keep accounting records (contract, legal obligation).
  • To prevent abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
  • To send ideas and offers, only if you agreed; you can stop any time (consent).

Who processes it

  • Image models that draw your page, when you choose a style that uses them (for example Google Gemini, OpenAI, fal.ai or Replicate). Your photo is sent only to make your page. Our free engine runs on our own server.
  • Payments: Stripe (when card payments are on).
  • Printing: Lulu Press, which receives the book file and your delivery address to print and ship it.
  • Hosting: Contabo GmbH (servers in the European Union) and Cloudflare (network protection).

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for cross-site advertising.

How long we keep it

  • Original photos: 30 days, or as long as they are part of a book in your account.
  • Pages and books: until you delete them or your account.
  • Orders and invoices: as long as tax law requires (up to 7 years).
  • Server logs: 30 days.

Your rights

You can see, download and delete your pages any time, and delete your whole account in Account → Settings. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to some uses, by writing to [email protected]. If you live in the EU or UK, you may complain to your data protection authority.
